  • Thanks for the mention! @rahulgodara05, you are using “de” here because you are asking about a characteristic (color) of an object. If you said “Qué color es…” it would refer to a color, like “¿qué color es este? Es el color azul”, but if you are referring to an object, you add “de”, “¿de qué color es el oso?” If you asked “qué color es el cielo” it would sound as if the sky is its own color!
